Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Math 2 Fun (“the app”) is published by FASELA, registered in France under SIREN 105 372 684, 6 rue Maurice Mignon, 06200 Nice, France (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the website that hosts this page. You can contact us at support@fasela.com.
2. The app
What stays on the device
The app saves your child's progress (stages completed, stars, badges, scores) and settings (language, sound, help options, tips already shown, and the state of the parental gate) on the device only. This data is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is removed when you delete the app or clear the app's data in your device settings. On iPhone and iPad, app data may be included in your own device or iCloud backup, which you control. On Android, backups of the app are turned off.
What we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, locations, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, or usage statistics. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics software, makes no network connections, and asks for no special permissions.
Links
The only link that leaves the app is this privacy policy, opened in your web browser from the Settings screen after a grown-up check (a short question that a young child is unlikely to answer). Websites you open are governed by their own policies.
3. Children
The app is designed for children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, there is no personal information from children to protect, share or delete, and we do not ask children for any information. We therefore do not need parental consent mechanisms. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
4. This website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Like any web server, it processes technical connection data (such as IP address, browser type and time of the request) in order to deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse. We do not use cookies, advertising or analytics tools on this website and we do not combine this data with any other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare handles this data under its own privacy policy and data-transfer safeguards.
If you open the web version of the app in a browser, the same app data described above is stored in your browser's local storage on your device only.
5. App stores and purchases
The app is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google process your purchase and your account under their own privacy policies. We receive no payment details and no personal information from them.
6. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French law (Loi Informatique et Libertés) you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of personal data about you, and the right to data portability. Because the app collects no personal data, we hold nothing about you from the app. For the technical website data described in section 4, write to support@fasela.com and we will answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your own country.
7. Retention and security
Technical website logs are kept by our host only for as long as needed for delivery and security. App data never leaves your device, so its retention is under your control.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, if the change is significant, mention it in the app's release notes. If a future version of the app ever collects data, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
